🏖️ Beyond Beta - August at Sociality.io
👋 Hey everyone, I’m Sercan, Interface & Interaction Maker here at Sociality.io. Some folks call it frontend, but around here, I like to think of myself as the bridge between pixels and purpose. If it moves, clicks, or slides smoothly on your screen, I probably had something to do with it 😄 You know that August mood, half the city’s on vacation, but your Figma files are still wide awake? That was us: part sandals, part sprints, still shipping.
So here’s Beyond Beta: August 2025, let’s dive into the updates!
- Total view counts for Instagram Reels in Analytics 🎬
- Facebook “Views” metric coming soon 👁️
- Track open-to-close in Engage exports ⏱️
- Compare Club and their Sociality.io experience 💯
🎬 Total view counts for Instagram Reels in Analytics
What’s the value?
Combines organic + paid views
Delivers more accurate reporting
Helps you see full content impact
In Analytics, Instagram Reels are now reported with total views instead of just organic. That means you’ll see the combined reach of both organic and paid views, giving you a truer picture of how your Reels perform overall. No more splitting hairs between paid and organic: just one clear, complete number to measure impact.
👁️ Facebook “Views” metric coming soon
What’s the value?
Matches Meta’s latest measurement shift
Keeps reports accurate and up to date
Makes cross-platform analysis easier
Meta has replaced Impressions with Views, and this change now extends to Facebook as well. We’ve started rolling out the updated metric, and you’ll soon see it reflected in your reports, ensuring your data stays consistent with Meta’s latest reporting standards.
⏱️ Track open-to-close in Engage exports
What’s the value?
Tracks first view to resolution
Speeds up performance reviews
Surfaces response time patterns
You’ll now find Read by and Read at fields in Team Performance exports under the Engage module. This gives you clearer visibility into when each conversation was first opened and offering a more accurate view of how quickly your team responds and closes interactions.
💯 Compare Club and their Sociality.io experience
This month, we had the pleasure of chatting with Gary and Phoebe from Compare Club, Australia’s most trusted financial comparison service with over 500 employees and 1M+ customers annually. Their 30-person marketing team works closely with product, content, PR, and member experience and Sociality.io plays a central role in their social media engine.
Key lessons from their journey
🛠️ An easy switch, zero friction: Phoebe called it “one of the smoothest transitions we’ve ever had with a third-party tool.” No steep learning curve, just plug-in and go.
📊 Stats that are ready when they are: Monthly reporting is now fast and digestible, even for non-numbers people. Data’s pulled in minutes, not hours.
🧾 Updates that don’t get lost: They rely on our newsletters and Beyond Beta updates to adopt new features instantly. No hidden tools, no guessing games.
Thanks again to Gary and Phoebe for sharing your story, we’re proud to support their mission 🫶🏻
🧩 See how Compare Club makes it work with our platform.
- General and mobile improvements: The kind that quietly keep everything running as it should.
- Instagram DMs ghosted? Not anymore: Some accounts weren’t seeing their DMs due to a hiccup in how we handled platform data. We fixed the issue, and your inbox feels whole again.
- Collaborators can’t sneak past approvals now: When collaborators edited scheduled posts, those changes were skipping the approval queue. We closed that loophole, edits now follow the proper review flow.
- Links that actually link in Team Performance exports: The “Conversation link” field was displaying incorrect data. It now shows the correct URLs, making exports more reliable for tracking and follow-up.
- Instagram media size errors resolved: Some supported image dimensions were incorrectly flagged during publishing. We’ve updated our validation to match Instagram’s current requirements.
- Message counts now reflect reality in Message Stream: Deselecting “Include deleted and hidden conversations” was causing an unexpected drop in message count. The filter was targeting the wrong data but it’s now corrected and live.
We know it’s often the small fixes that make the biggest difference. Thanks for sticking with us through the quiet, productive corners of August 🙏 As always, we’re just one message away whether it’s feedback, feature ideas, or a quick hello. Reach us anytime at support@sociality.io 📬
