🍿 Beyond Beta - January at Sociality.io

👋 Hey everyone, Oktay here,  Infrastructure & Logic Maker (backend wizardry, uptime rituals, you know the vibe).

In Beyond Beta: January 2026 at Sociality.io, we’re kicking off the year by upgrading your visibility: what people share (hello, Instagram Repost metrics), what they skip (Reels skip rate is here), and how teams are really using AI in social media right now—packed into our 2026 AI in Social Media Marketing report, complete with survey stats, a PDF, and an AI checklist you can actually use on Monday morning.

Let’s unpack the January upgrades:

  • AI signals for 2026 are here (no fluff) 📡
  • Reposts finally show what gets shared 🔁
  • Fix Reels retention faster with skip rate 🪝
  • Rhino Runner and their Sociality.io experience 🦏

📡 AI signals for 2026 are here (no fluff)

What’s the value?
Benchmark your team’s AI habits
Build workflows, not AI chaos
Grab a practical AI checklist

AI isn’t a “nice-to-try” anymore — it’s already part of the weekly muscle memory for most teams. In Sociality.io’s 2026 AI in Social Media Marketing report, we surveyed marketers and pulled the signal out of the noise: 89.7% use AI daily or several times a week, but 78.4% still apply moderate or extensive editing before anything goes live — meaning adoption is high, yet trust + process still need structure. You’ll get the key stats, the downloadable PDF, and a checklist you can use to pressure-test your AI workflow (where it saves time, where it needs guardrails, and how to keep your brand voice fully human).

👉 Dive into the full report for the complete data, PDF, and checklist.

🔁 Reposts finally show what gets shared

What’s the value?
See what audiences repost
Prove “shareability” with data
Compare reposts across content

Reposts are one of Instagram’s clearest “this is worth passing on” signals and now you can measure it in Sociality.io at both the account level and the post level. On posts, we previously showed Organic shares as a single number. That metric is still called Organic shares, but now it includes Reposts too — and when you hover, you’ll see the full breakdown. So you can spot which accounts consistently earn shares, which posts trigger the “send to a friend” reflex, and how that sharing actually happens.

🪝 Fix Reels retention faster with skip rate

What’s the value?
Spot weak hooks in seconds
Compare Reels attention fast
Improve retention with proof

Reels live or die in the first few seconds and now you can measure that moment directly. We added Skip Rate to Instagram Reels insights: the percentage of views from people who skipped within the first 3 seconds. Think of it as your hook health check. A high skip rate is your cue to revisit the opening frame, pacing, caption, or payoff — while a lower skip rate means you’re earning attention early and giving the algorithm (and your audience) a reason to stick around.

🦏 Rhino Runner and their Sociality.io experience

A quick behind the scenes story from a team that treats social like mission control.

We sat down with Tolgahan Duman, Digital Marketing Manager at Rhino Runner, and the energy was instantly clear: this is an agency built on “zero error, maximum efficiency operations.” When you’re managing 100+ pages across nearly 30 brands, precision stops being a nice to have and becomes the whole operating system. Sociality.io helps Rhino Runner keep approvals tight, publishing clean, and reporting sane, especially when volume spikes on holidays and weekends.

How they keep things spotless at volume 🧘

🛡️ Zero error workflows, made real: Rhino Runner runs a two layer control setup (content + moderation), and Sociality.io helps keep that approval chain crystal clear so nothing slips through the cracks.

📊 Reports without the spreadsheet marathon: Their team prepares monthly reports across brands, and Sociality.io’s reporting + time range selection turns an “almost unimaginable” manual workload into something actually manageable.

🧯 Peak time calm: During peak periods, Sociality.io helps them save time and reduce the margin for error, so busy seasons don’t turn into firefighting.

Huge thanks to Tolgahan and the Rhino Runner team for the conversation (and for proving that “scale” and “precision” can coexist).

See how Rhino Runner runs it →

  • Smoother moves, everywhere: General and mobile improvements to keep your workflow running clean.
  • TikTok comment links are back in action: Fixed missing post/comment links on some TikTok comments, so the “go to” URL now shows as expected.
  • Exports now respect the 10k line: Fixed filtering/exporting conversations over 10,000 so the limit is handled properly and exports complete as expected.
  • No more “did it send?” déjà vu: Fixed Engage replies not appearing correctly after sending, so sent messages now show instantly and you won’t accidentally resend them.
  • Tags now export truthfully: Fixed post tag mismatches in XLS/CSV exports, so exported tags match what you actually labeled.

🚀 And that’s January. The first month of the year always sets the rhythm, so we tuned things toward clarity, speed, and confidence — the kind you feel when the numbers make sense and the workflow just flows. Keep the feedback coming; it genuinely shapes what we ship.
