Hi there guys,

I'm here to bring you the latest improvements, good news, and bug fixes this time. We've crafted some great enhancements, and I hope you love them! So, without further delay, here's our Beyond Beta September edition!

Sociality.io Workspace 101 

With the new Workspaces, we’ve introduced several new screens designed to enhance your experience and make Sociality.io even easier to use. Here are some of the key features we've added:

🧠 AI Sentiment Analysis for the Listen and Engage module

AI Sentiment Analysis helps you monitor brand health, optimize engagement strategies, and react quickly to customer emotions, making your social media management more strategic and effective. Here are some of the benefits of AI Sentiment Analysis for Listen and Engage modules:

For the Listen Module:

  • Track Brand Sentiment: Monitor whether conversations are positive, negative, or neutral.
  • Crisis Management: Detect negative trends early to address issues quickly.
  • Audience Insights: Understand reactions to campaigns and trends through sentiment analysis.

For the Engage Module:

  • Prioritize Responses: Focus on handling critical messages based on sentiment.
  • Personalized Replies: Tailor responses based on customer emotions.
  • Efficient Management: Sort and manage messages automatically by sentiment.


How to enable AI sentiment analysis for Listen and Engage modules:

1. Click 'Settings,' and you’ll land directly in the 'Workspaces' section on the next screen.


2. From the left menu, click on ‘Sentiment preferences.'


3. Enable ‘AI analyzer for Listen’ and ‘AI analyzer for Engage’.



4. Congratulations! You did it.


🎨 Icon and color selection for ‘Saved replies’

With the new Workspaces improvements, you can assign icons and colors to your saved replies. This enhancement not only improves your overall experience but also accelerates the process, making it easier to recognize and utilize your replies quickly.

How to assign icons and colors to your saved replies:

1. Click 'Settings,' and you’ll land directly in the 'Workspaces' section on the next screen.


2. From the left menu, click on ‘Saved replies'.


3. Click on the ‘Edit’ icon to assign a custom icon and color to your saved replies.


4. Make your selections from the opening screen.


5. Click on ‘Save changes,’ and you’re all set.


🔒 Workspace members: Enhance privacy and security

Quickly access the names, email addresses, and roles of all members associated with a specific workspace in just seconds, ensuring enhanced privacy and security for your team.


📸 PNG cover photos for Reels videos 

You can now easily upload PNG cover photos specifically designed for your Reels videos, allowing you to enhance the visual appeal and branding of your content.


365 Derece and their Sociality.io experience 🤝

We had the pleasure of conducting an insightful interview with Yusuf Eren Yalcin, Founder of 365 Derece, an agency that attributes its progress to constantly asking 'why' - the question that unlocks innovation.

  • General: We are rolling out updates across both the system and mobile platforms, bringing powerful improvements to enhance your overall experience.
  • Listen: Due to indexing issues, some users encountered errors when attempting to list their results. We have resolved this bug to ensure a smoother experience.
  • Connecting pages - Instagram: The issues preventing users from connecting their Instagram accounts have been successfully fixed.
  • Mobile notifications: Some users experienced issues with receiving mobile notifications, but we're pleased to inform you that this has now been resolved.
  • Exported reports: There is no more missing data from exported Excel reports for X and YouTube; this issue is gone now.
  • Engage - Team performance: We identified and fixed an issue with date selection, ensuring a smoother experience for tracking team performance.

PNG format is here: Publish crystal-clear photos on Instagram

The PNG file format is now supported for Instagram photo publishing on the Publish module, giving you more flexibility when sharing high-quality images.


Olá Português 🇵🇹 🇧🇷

The Portuguese language option is now available in the Listen module, allowing you to monitor conversations and track brand mentions in Portuguese, further expanding your social listening capabilities.

  • General: Rolling out updates across the system and mobile, enhancing your experience with powerful new features and improvements.
  • General - Profile picture: You can now experience a smoother profile picture upload with our updated profile picture upload process.
  • Engage - X: We’ve improved the Twitter DM process, addressing previous issues for a smoother experience.
  • Listen: Resolved a technical issue that caused some users to miss mentions in the Listen module. Everything is now fixed and running smoothly.
  • Connecting pages: The issue preventing you from connecting your pages through the Publish module has been resolved. Everything is working as expected now.

Introducing our newest team member role: 'Admin'

What’s new?

We’ve added a new team member role, ‘Admin’, to Sociality.io. Now, let's explore the distinctions between Admin and Manager together.


Admin:


🌐 Workspace access: Admins have access to all workspaces within the system. This means they can view and manage all brands and profiles across the board.

👤 User management: Admins have the authority to manage users within the system. This includes tasks such as adding new users, removing users, and adjusting user permissions as needed.

💳 Billing management: Admins can manage billing-related tasks. This includes updating payment information, managing subscriptions, and handling any billing inquiries or issues.

👨‍💻 Developer management: Admins have the capability to manage developers within the system. This may involve tasks such as adding new developers, removing developers, and overseeing developer-related permissions or settings.


Manager:

🚪 Workspace access: Managers have access to specific workspaces that they have been invited to. This means they can view and manage tasks within these invited workspaces only.

🔒 Limited permissions: While Managers have certain management abilities within their assigned workspaces (such as adding or removing pages, updating tokens, etc.), they do not have access to overarching administrative functions like user, billing, or developer management.

🎯 Focused responsibilities: Managers primarily focus on tasks related to the specific workspaces they are invited to, ensuring efficient project management within those designated areas.


In summary, while both Admins and Managers play vital roles within the system, Admins have broader access and administrative capabilities across all workspaces, including user, billing, and developers. On the other hand, Managers have more limited access. They are focused on managing tasks within the specific workspaces they have been invited to, without administrative privileges outside those designated areas.

IG Reels Thumbnail upload is now supported in Publish

What’s new?

You can now upload custom thumbnails for IG Reels in Publish. Gone are the days of only selecting frames from the video; now, you have the freedom to upload your own files.

What’s new?

  • Engage: We've squashed the bugs causing user selection problems on the Assign, Star, and Internal Notes features.
  • Left navigation bar - Notifications: We heard you loud and clear! Users couldn't see the notification icon for brands for a while, but we're happy to share that this issue has been fixed.
  • Competitors: We’ve fixed the issue where the date range on exported files was wrong and didn’t match what was selected on the platform.
  • Analytics: Due to a bug on Facebook's side, the number of page likes data was unavailable for a while. But don’t worry, the platform has fixed it!
  • Publish: We've resolved the issue that caused errors when TikTok videos were published through the platform.

From now on, not only can you monitor X (formerly Twitter) comments, but you can also reply to them via DMs with just one click. It's as simple as clicking the 'Send direct message' icon on the comment you wish to respond to. From there, a pop-up will appear where you can craft your message and engage effortlessly in private conversation with your audience.

Reply to X comments via DMs signifies the convenience of fostering meaningful interactions with your audience. You can respond to comments by utilizing direct messages, nurturing a deeper connection, and promoting engagement on your platform. The exportable conversations limit expanded to 10,000 in the Engage and Listen 🚀

We recently upgraded the limit of the exportable conversation, increasing it from 7,500 to 10,000 across two key features: Engage - Bulk Actions and Listen - Mentions. This enhancement means you can now analyze and manage an even larger volume of conversations, providing you with deeper insights and more opportunities to engage meaningfully with your audience across various social media platforms.

Blockwiz, a crypto marketing agency, originated in Toronto in 2018 and has since evolved into a global operation; it specializes in meeting the unique needs of Web3 brands in the blockchain and crypto space.

We had a great meeting with Ashmat Khan, Brand Manager of Blockwiz, to witness how they are leveraging Sociality.io while managing their social.

Expanded export capability for bulk actions in Engage module

Good news for users of the Engage module! We're thrilled to announce the expansion of our export capability for bulk actions. With this update, you can now export up to 10,000 conversations in XLS format, a significant increase from the previous limit of 5,000. This enhancement empowers you to manage your data more efficiently and analyze it with greater depth. Take advantage of this improved functionality to streamline your workflow and make the most out of your Engage experience.

LinkedIn Document is a versatile format that lets you share PDFs in your feed posts. This lets viewers preview and open the document directly and easily. It offers a seamless and convenient way to share important content with your network.

When sharing LinkedIn documents via Sociality.io, what criteria should be considered?

As demonstrated in the visual, you have the option to share your LinkedIn documents with their details limited to a maximum capacity:


TikTok publishing enhancements: Power to Delete, Edit, and Reject posts before they go live

Several months back, we introduced the TikTok integration to our Publish module. Today, we're thrilled to announce that we're expanding your experience with a host of new functionalities. Here's what you can now achieve with these enhanced features with different status of your TikTok content status:

  • TikTok post created but not approved yet

When you've crafted a TikTok post through Sociality.io that awaits approval, you have several options at your disposal: Edit, Delete, or Approve.

  • TikTok post scheduled with approval

After successfully creating a TikTok post via Sociality.io and receiving approval, you retain the ability to: Edit, Delete, or Reject Approval

  • TikTok post published

If a TikTok post has been published, deletion via Sociality.io is not possible due to restrictions within the TikTok API. Your only available action is to 'Go to URL' to view the content on the native platform.


No more unwanted engagement: Block user option is here for Facebook 🛑

In our ongoing effort to provide you with a safe and enjoyable social experience, we've introduced a highly requested feature: The ability to block users directly from the Engage module for Facebook.

With the new block user option, you can now take control of your social media engagement experience by preventing specific users from interacting with you on the Engage module. Simply navigate to the user's profile on the Engage module, click on the "Block" button, and voila! You'll no longer receive messages, comments, or visitor posts from that user.


Introducing local and global page names for Facebook in Publish, Engage, Analytics modules 🌍

We are thrilled to introduce a significant enhancement to our platform: local-global page names for Facebook, now seamlessly integrated across Publish, Engage, and Analytics. This enhancement comes in direct response to the challenges many face when managing both local and global brands on social media platforms, particularly Facebook.

By implementing local-global page names, you can now easily differentiate between pages associated with specific regions or markets and those representing your global brand presence. This distinction not only simplifies navigation but also enhances your ability to manage and analyze your social media activities effectively.

Refreshing your access tokens just got easier

We understand that the process of accessing your token can sometimes be a bit frustrating. That's why we have taken the initiative to revamp our access token refresh modal. With this update, we have made it clearer, more straightforward, and even more user-friendly than before.
